Miracle Travel Works connects families of children battling life threatening illnesses with corporations and individuals that have the travel resources and/or funds to get them where they need to go for treatment. It’s about getting kids where they need to go for life-saving medical treatments and keeping families together during the most trying time of their lives
This volunteer led organization needed their website to be the hub of their operations: for families to be able to sign up, submit receipts, and track reimbursements; for individuals and businesses to be able to donate and volunteer; and for administrative volunteers to respond to requests and execute reporting. I met those deliverables by simplifying their brand look, incorporating large photography, and by coding an extension for a WordPress plugin to gain the functionality needed.
